Research project
- Differential Privacy for Inference in the Debiased LASSO Model (Supervised by Prof. Xinzhou GUO, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, 09/2024-Present)
- Worked on asymptotic normality theory for a method combining differentially private debiased LASSO with bootstrap techniques to address selection bias.
- Studied inference methods for multimodal EEG learning under differential privacy constraints.
- Trade-off Between Privacy and Accuracy of Synthetic Data (Supervised by Prof. Junhui WANG, Chinese University of Hong Kong, 01/2024-01/2025)
- Developed a privacy metric for generative models, extending the differential privacy examination framework to scenarios where traditional noise addition or model analysis techniques are ineffective.
- Designed a penalty-based algorithm using the proposed privacy metric to balance privacy protection and downstream task accuracy.
- Developed a GAN algorithm under the proposed privacy metric, improving downstream task accuracy while maintaining privacy protection.
